Eternal Lord, our beginning and our end: bring us with the whole
creation to your glory, hidden through past ages and made known in
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
This Collect tells us that God has made the world and that
through the life of Jesus Christ we can see the glory of
God. This is a Collect for the season of Epiphany
when Christ was 'shown' to the magi, the wise men. Their
story shows us that the whole of creation celebrated the birth
of Jesus because they saw the birth of Christ in the stars.
